The Direct Primary Care Difference

Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a deceptively simple idea, but it radically reinvigorates and reinvents what primary care should be. Instead of playing the "insurance game": trying to be seen in an overbooked clinic, or guessing which medicines are covered by your plan this month, all why wondering "why am I paying these insurance premiums when they wont even pay for anything before I've hit my deductible?", direct primary care cuts out the middlemen completely.

It's just you, and your doctor.

As a DPC practice, InnoVie Family Medicine takes all the best elements of concierge medicine—once only available to America's CEOs and professional athletes—and makes them accessible to everyone. Our goal is to foster a lasting partnership between you and your primary care physician, focusing on disease prevention, proactive health, and overall wellness—not merely treating illness after it appears.

What You Will Love About DPC

Be seen by your doctor. Ask your doctor questions.

DPC allows you and your physician to rekindle the patient-physician relationship—and keep it center stage. With InnoVie, you always know who you will see and who will answer the phone.

Meet Our Physician

Brandon M. Teska, DO, PhD

Board Certified Family Physician

"I went into science—and then medicine—because I'm constantly amazed by what the human body can do."

Dr. Teska originally trained as a classical percussionist and chemical engineer at the University of Colorado at Boulder before earning his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Colorado's Anschutz Medical campus and completing his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at Rocky Vista University in Parker, Colorado. He completed his residency training at St. Joseph Hospital (SCL Health, now Intermountain) in Denver in full spectrum family medicine, meaning he delivered babies, cared for critically ill patients in the ICU (during the peak of COVID-19), provided emergency care in the ED as well as caring for patients from all walks of life in various outpatient clinics. He went on to work in both outpatient primary care clinics and also continued work as a hospitalist before founding InnoVie Family Medicine.

Laboratory fees vary depending on the labs ordered. Typical annual physical lab work consisting of a CMP, CBC, A1c and lipid panel usually costs approximately $35-45 plus blood draw fee at an outside laboratory which is approximately $3-5.

Imaging fees vary greatly depending on the study ordered. Simple x-rays typically cost about $55-60 whereas more advanced imaging (CT scan, MRI, etc.) generally costs a few hundred dollars ($400-600). All costs are discussed in detail with you before we order the study. See additional information about pairing insurance with a membership at InnoVie Family Medicine below.

What About My Insurance?

We fully support having insurance—it's essential for covering rare, catastrophic events. However, insurance isn't designed to nurture a long‑term, personal relationship with your primary‑care physician. In many primary‑care settings, it can actually get in the way rather than help. So, let's reserve insurance for what it does best: emergencies, high‑cost or unexpected surgeries, specialized imaging or diagnostics, and specialist visits.

What about my pharmacy and imaging benefits?

With an InnoVie direct primary‑care membership, you decide what works best for you. You can still apply your insurance benefits to prescriptions, labs, and imaging ordered through our clinic, or you can take advantage of the competitive clinic rates we’ve negotiated on your behalf. The choice is yours!

Osteopathic Manipulation Treatment (OMT)

OMT is a gentle, hands‑on technique that guides the body back toward its natural balance, easing pain and improving daily function. It works especially well for:

  • Common conditions: chronic low‑back pain, upper‑back and neck discomfort (often posture‑ or computer‑related), and hip pain.
  • Less common conditions: certain neurologic disorders such as multiple sclerosis and some migraine types.

Treatment plans are individualized with most patients receiving OMT roughly every six weeks. The duration of treatment is adjusted based on a patient's response.

If you’re a referring provider and wonder whether OMT could benefit your patient, please get in touch—we'll help you determine if it's a suitable option.

Note: OMT is the only service Dr. Teska offers outside of a direct primary‑care membership.
